About The Position

KLN Family Brands is hiring a Day Shift Material Handler for Kenny's Candy & Confections. The role is responsible for defining responsibilities and providing instructions for tasks performed by material handlers in the warehouse. The position supports warehouse operations by organizing and moving products, handling shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment and a shuttle truck, and reporting safety concerns.

The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:40pm–3:00pm. All-in hourly compensation is $20.35, consisting of $19.13 base pay and a $1.22 sign-on bonus rate. Responsibilities

• Keep finished products organized and properly located in warehouses.
• Perform accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and product movements.
• Rotate ingredients and packaging into their proper locations after receiving.
• Load and unload trucks accurately.
• Drive the shuttle truck to deliver and pick up products and supplies as necessary.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies when discovered.
• Operate forklifts and shuttle trucks; be certified and licensed to drive such vehicles.
• Operate the shrink wrapper, box crusher, and other equipment as necessary.
• Perform physical and cycle inventory counts as necessary.
• Back up or substitute for inventory control positions when necessary.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Place raw materials, packaging, and finished goods on hold and release them as necessary.
• Immediately report safety issues, unsafe conditions, and accidents.
