About The Position

The Material Handler supplies materials to production work centers while maintaining inventory controls and accuracy. The role also packs and ships customer orders, receives and delivers inbound packages, fills material requisitions, and supports warehouse inventory management in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The position is responsible for cycle counts, accurate material-disposal documentation, and cleanliness of the warehouse and shipping areas, while following company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate hand trucks.
• Knowledge of Internet software, inventory software, order processing systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Provide materials to production work centers while ensuring adequate inventory controls.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Pack and ship customer orders.
• Receive and deliver inbound packages.
• Maintain inventory control of all stock locations.
• Fill material requisitions and deliver them to the appropriate department.
• Maintain the cycle count program.
• Maintain accurate documentation for material disposal.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and shipping areas.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
