About The Position

United Gasket is hiring a full-time Material Handler for its manufacturing and warehouse operations in Cicero, Illinois. This is a first-shift position with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule. The role supports production and shipping by moving, organizing, and delivering materials throughout warehouse and production areas; preparing orders; handling shipments; and helping maintain inventory and organized work areas. The listed starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with potentially higher pay based on experience. The position involves hands-on work in a manufacturing environment and collaboration with production and shipping teams. Forklift training is available. Requirements

Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions, count materials accurately, and stay organized.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to stand, walk, and move materials throughout the shift, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience is a plus; company-provided training is available.

Responsibilities

Move, organize, and deliver materials throughout warehouse and production areas.
Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipping.
Load, unload, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
