About The Position
DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Material Handler to operate powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products. The role also checks inbound and outbound products for damage and infestation, records product code dates, and verifies that products meet customer requirements. The position is onsite and pays $20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months of warehouse experience preferred.
- Six months of forklift operation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
- Physically load products onto equipment, pallets, or totes for more than 20% of the specified shift.
- Put away and pick products for shipment or stock.
- Check inbound and outbound products for damage and infestation, record product code dates, and confirm products meet customer requirements.
- Ensure the exact number and type of products ordered by the customer are checked and loaded correctly.
- Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer orders to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
- Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
- Verify and report discrepancies, such as unavailable products and OS&D.
- Maintain the facility and its equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
- Inspect operated equipment daily.
- Assist with physical inventories.
