About The Position

This is a temporary Material Handler position with a day shift schedule. The role involves loading and unloading parts or materials, examining documents for storage destination, pulling stored materials, and moving them to production or shipping areas. Responsibilities also include documenting information related to part numbers, counts, and storage locations, packaging and labeling materials according to specifications, and performing inventory counts. The position requires working with moderate supervision and proficiency in pulling and distributing parts, including kitting, receiving, and put away. The job involves checking goods against purchase orders, invoices, or lists, and physically moving parts. Daily tasks must be completed quickly, efficiently, and in adherence to Quality and Safety standards. The role requires computer use with knowledge of MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and adhere to company safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to follow the procedures, techniques, tools and processes appropriate to material handling
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Maintain regular contact with site on route status, delays, or potential hazards
  • Good math skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle is a plus
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Climbs stair ladders some of the time, uses step stools some of the time, may use a pallet jack
  • 2-3 years of material handling and outside processing or related experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform vehicle safety check as per company SOP and report any and all vehicle defect, mechanical issues, or accidents immediately to management

Responsibilities

  • Package and label materials according to specifications
  • Perform inventory counts as requested
  • Work with moderate supervision
  • Proficient in pulling and distributing of parts (kitting, receiving, put away)
  • Check goods against purchase orders, invoices or lists
  • Physically move parts up to 20' long into proper labeled locations
  • Complete daily tasks quickly, efficiently and adhering to Quality and Safety standards
  • Perform vehicle safety check as per company SOP and report any and all vehicle defect, mechanical issues, or accidents immediately to management

Benefits

  • Pay range: $19.33 to $32.84 per hour (for CA candidates)
