About The Position

Corrpro Canada is looking for a Temporary Material Handler to join their team. Corrpro Canada is a technology-enabled Cathodic Protection services company that provides construction, inspection, engineering, materials management and custom software and hardware to deliver innovative and data-driven corrosion management solutions. The Materials Handler is responsible for a wide range of duties supporting efficient and safe manufacturing and distribution of corrosion protection products.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience operating hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and specialized equipment.
• Strong verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to learn and complete duties efficiently and effectively.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Able to interact and work effectively as a team.
• Able to wear a respirator as required.
• Able to regularly lift over 50 pounds.
• Able to regularly stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift operator certificate and experience is an asset.
• Welding and soldering experience also an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing, assembly and packaging of various Corrosion Protection products.
• General warehouse duties including maintaining the condition of the warehouse.
• Picking, shipping & receiving duties as required.
• Proactively follow all Health and Safety requirements.
• Perform general maintenance, repairs and inspections of specific tools and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
• Load & unload trucks as required.
• Operate forklift as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.
