About The Position

Clean Harbors in Jeffersonville, Ohio is hiring a Hazardous Waste Material Handler (InSite Technician) to perform field work involving hazardous-waste cleanup, equipment decontamination, and hazardous-material handling. The position follows a Pitman schedule of 12-hour shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.: two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, two days on, and three days off. The schedule includes working every other weekend.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• 0–2 years of previous relevant labor experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical functions required by the job.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and position-specific physical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet facial-hair standards if the position requires respirator use, in accordance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34.
