About The Position

MCC is seeking a Material Handler to move products and supplies to support production. The successful candidate meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards and works with other departments to support company strategies and efficient workflow. The role includes operating forklifts and other material-moving equipment, following production schedules, maintaining accurate records and system entries, and complying with facility safety and disposal procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification and material handling experience.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-moving equipment to transport products and supplies.
• Read and interpret job tickets and layouts to ensure the correct materials are delivered to production.
• Execute production schedules accurately and promptly to maximize throughput.
• Coordinate workflow with associates across departments to maintain efficiency.
• Complete required documentation for job tracking, payroll, and inventory control.
• Enter data into systems to support production and shipping accuracy.
• Label and identify waste containers properly and follow disposal procedures.
• Adhere to facility safety policies and procedures, including GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards.
• Participate in safety observations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Support daily housekeeping efforts to sustain a safe and efficient warehouse.
