Material Handler
About The Position
As a Material Handler, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! This role involves working in a warehouse performing functions such as receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. You will load and unload product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas. Reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. You will convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code. Operating a gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc. May load/unload trucks; may use a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks.
Requirements
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or political asylee or refugee.
- Must provide one of the following forms of identification: Passport, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570), or Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551).
