About The Position

Curtis Lumber is hiring Yard Material Handlers to provide exceptional customer service in an outdoor yard environment. The role uses proper material-handling practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) to load, unload, and store materials. It also involves inventory management, product merchandising, and the safe and proper use of equipment and materials. The work is outdoors year-round in a variety of seasonal weather conditions.

This is a full-time position of 40 or more hours per week with a consistent schedule and retail hours. The starting rate is $18–$21 per hour, with annual performance-based raises. Employees are paid weekly on Fridays and may receive discretionary profit sharing after one year of employment. The position is available immediately.

Requirements

• Able to regularly lift 50–80 pounds.
• Able to safely operate a propane forklift.
• Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Customer service skills to serve customers.
