About The Position

Clean Harbors in Jeffersonville, Ohio is seeking a Hazardous Waste Material Handler (InSite Technician) to join its team. This field-based role performs tasks associated with hazardous-waste clean-up, equipment decontamination, and handling hazardous materials.

The position follows a Pitman schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with a rotation of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off. The schedule includes working every other weekend.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous relevant labor experience of 0–2 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical functions required by the job.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and position-specific physical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet facial-hair standards if assigned to a position requiring a respirator, per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.34.
