Material Handler - 1st shift

About The Position

We are looking for a Material Handler who can start right away. The role assists with transporting and handling parts between operations and departments. On-the-job training will be provided, with opportunities for advancement through the company’s promote-from-within program. Compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. Pay within the range may depend on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs; the range may change.

Requirements

Strong commitment to attendance and punctuality to meet production needs.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Wear proper personal protective equipment in the work area at all times.
Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
English reading, writing, and verbal comprehension.
Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.

Responsibilities

Work safely and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
Stock workstations with parts.
Load and unload parts into tumblers, carts, or etching baskets.
Maintain accurate part and/or work-piece counts.
Ensure quality and production requirements are met according to job-specific travelers.
Perform other duties as instructed by the department manager.
