About The Position

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Material Handler to join their collaborative and hard-working team. This role is essential in coordinating the movement of product throughout the facility to ensure a consistent flow of materials. Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Prior warehouse operations and inventory management experience.
• 3-5 years of inventory operations and forklift (Reach/Stand/Sit) experience required.
• Ability to work overtime any day up to and including Saturday/Sunday as required.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and math skills.
• Ability to label, weigh, and dimension freight.
• Ability to record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.

• AS400 operation desirable

Responsibilities

• Load/unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Maintain and manage inventory to ensure maximum storage capacity.
• Handle emergency material requests.
• Load and unload docks.
• Manage disposal inventory.
• Act as forklift driver for Shipping and Receiving.
• Enter, maintain, and update computer inventory records for real-time accurate inventory.
• Manage and maintain inventory in accordance with housekeeping and stock maintenance guidelines, achieving and maintaining inventory accuracy of 95% or higher.
• Be responsible for inventory, rotation, and inspection of freight held in the warehouse.
• Label shipments and product.
• Complete required documentation.
• Prepare shipments and boxes for shipping.
• Work closely with Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations Supervisor, and Warehouse Operations Manager to gain experience in all warehouse responsibilities.
• Ensure all warehouse procedures are followed in all areas according to ISO9001 and safety standards.
