About The Position

Supports the customer General Contractor by performing clean up duties and ensuring the site is free of debris. This role involves working with a commitment to safety and upholding the core values of Encore Electric. The Material Handler acts as a professional with basic work ethics, coming to work on time with appropriate attire and tools, keeping the work area clean, and installing quality work in a neat and workmanship-like manner. They treat tools with respect, work and climb on ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms, identify electrical parts and components, and perform strenuous physical work including digging, kneeling, shoveling, lifting, pulling, pushing, and climbing. The role requires staying updated with changing technology and the national electrical code, wearing tools at all required times, and working in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Experience sufficient to demonstrate stability in a job along with a clean background check is required.
• Strong work ethics and communication skills are also required.
• Must have forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Sweep the job site
• Take out trash from the job site
• Move material upon request with an all-terrain forklift
• Prepare the job site for work the next day
• Ensure the job site is clean and clear of clutter
• Operate a forklift, broom, shovel, wheelbarrow etc. as necessary for clean-up purposes
• Other duties as may be assigned
