About The Position

D&W is seeking a Core Clerk to work in our Production Facility in Auburn, New York. Our Core Department handles the materials used for production. This is a fast paced physically demanding position located within a production environment with a positive culture. Core team members must be accurate, able to lift and or move up to 70 pounds frequently and be capable of working as an individual or on a team.

Requirements

• Physical ability to frequently lift and move up to 70 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs regularly while carrying cores
• Adaptable to shop setting, regularly standing, walking, twisting, lifting, and bending throughout the day
• Strong work ethic
• Basic computer knowledge and math skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience of material handling is desired, but not required

Responsibilities

• Identification of cores coming into our facility
• Entering information into the computer system
• Pulling cores for production shop tickets
• Assisting with physical inventory
