About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Material Handler for their Second (2nd) Shift. This role is crucial in operating powered equipment for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. The Material Handler will also be responsible for checking inbound and outbound products to ensure they are free of damage and infestation, that product code dates are properly recorded, and that products match customer requirements. Requirements

• Ability to operate a center rider
• Ability to operate a Stand up Reach Truck
• Ability to operate a Sitdown Forklift

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehouse experience
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Case-picking by hand up to 50lbs. approx. 60% of the day
• Operating MHE including Electric Pallet Jack and Reach Truck approx. 40% of the day
• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock
• Insure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and loaded correctly
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct
• Changes equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessary
• Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D
• Maintain the facility and the facility’s equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion
• Inspect all operated equipment daily
• Complete daily inspection of equipment
• Assist in physical inventories
