Material Handler, Omnicare (Glasgow, KY)
About The Position
The Material Handler performs physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The role helps maintain and supply production areas with raw materials to meet customer and production needs. It also involves entering data into automated systems to maintain inventory control records, produce shipping information, and order materials. The Material Handler applies functional knowledge of mechanical equipment to move, pick, and pack orders. This is a full-time, fully on-site position in Glasgow, Kentucky. The work schedule may be flexible and may include overtime, weekends, or a staggered shift as needed to support warehouse operations. The employee will be employed by Omnicare, which will operate independently following its sale by CVS Health.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Willingness to work fully on-site in Glasgow, Kentucky.
- Availability to work flexible hours, which may include overtime, weekends, or a staggered shift as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with forklifts.
- Previous experience with warehouse shipping and receiving.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic math and computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
