About The Position
Poly-America, L.P., a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is seeking a Material Handler at its Grand Prairie, Texas location. The role involves securing and transferring finished goods and/or scrap. Duties may include additional responsibilities as needed. Candidates must successfully pass a drug screen.
Requirements
- Two years of job-related experience.
- Successfully complete Poly-America’s Industrial Mobile Equipment training and testing program for forklifts.
- Ability to learn Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.
- Successfully pass a drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Band and secure finished skids.
- Transport finished skids to the conveyor system.
- Assist in putting lines back in production.
- Pick up scrap after lines are put back in production.
- Act as a packager when necessary.
- Perform general housekeeping.
