About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves managing laboratory supplies, including ordering, receiving, inventory management, and distribution. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year or more of experience in inventory management, and facilities support, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, supply distribution, vendor coordination, and facility operations.
  • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to pass a standardized color-blind test
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Current or prior Labcorp experience
  • One year or more of experience shipping and receiving materials using carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or similar logistics systems.
  • One year or more of experience receiving, stocking, tracking, and distributing inventory in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • One year or more of experience managing inventory for laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
  • One year or more of experience working with facility vendors and contractors, including providing site access, communicating work expectations, and monitoring service completion
  • Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts

Responsibilities

  • Place orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephone
  • Load and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slips
  • Receive and process stock into inventory management system
  • Process orders from client offices and patient service centers via phone, fax and email
  • Print requisition forms and barcode labels for internal and external clients
  • Pack orders for shipment via various shipping methods such as Fed Ex & UPS
  • Resolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely
  • Maintain inventory control according to company standards
  • Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory
  • Deliver supplies to local branches, clients and patient service centers when needed
