About The Position

This role involves a variety of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and preparing materials for orders. The Warehouse Specialist will ensure accuracy in inventory management, maintain quality standards, and operate warehouse equipment. Key responsibilities include verifying shipments, identifying and reporting discrepancies, organizing storage areas, and fulfilling order requests. The position also requires maintaining inventory records, preparing reports, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials.

Requirements

3 years' related experience
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment and vehicles
Familiarity with hand tools
Computer proficiency for processing reports and maintaining inventory

Responsibilities

Verifying materials against receiving documents
Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage
Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
Replenishing pick areas identified by replenishment screens or reporting various requests for needed merchandise
Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
Maintaining quality service by following organizational standards
Completing reports by entering required information into the inventory management system
Operating a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilizing a variety of hand tools as required
Lifting up to 50lbs
Operating a computer to process reports and forms, and maintaining inventory of warehouse materials as required
