About The Position

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will support the delivery of supply chain solutions by moving materials and inventory throughout a facility and performing related warehouse tasks. The role may include packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, labeling products, and using a handheld scanner. You will follow the 7S program, maintain a clean work environment, and work safely to protect yourself and your team members.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.
