About The Position

The Material Handler supports inventory management and the movement of vessels and materials through the facility. The role coordinates shipping and receiving schedules for vessel pickups and deliveries, loads and unloads vessels and roll-off boxes, and works with the warehouse on vessels and drum adsorbers for existing customers. It uses computer systems to enter and view vessel records and operates manual and automated material handling equipment, including a VEC Loader. The position also supports safe housekeeping, timely facility operations, and internal and external customer needs.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
One to three years of Material Handler experience.
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
Good interpersonal and time-management skills, with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Technical school education preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.
Work independently and with interdepartmental team members.
Communicate with Logistics and the inside Sales Department.
Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules and tasks for vessel pickups and deliveries.
Load and unload vessels and roll-off boxes.
Use Access and Navision programs to enter and view vessel information records.
Drive and operate a VEC Loader to transport and unload vessel inventory.
Coordinate and work with the warehouse on vessels and building drum adsorbers for existing customers.
Use manual and automated material handling equipment.
Follow safety and hygiene guidelines and procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
Troubleshoot and problem-solve as needed to ensure timely delivery and flow of vessels through the facility.
Address internal and external customer needs and expectations.
Perform other duties as required.
