About The Position

This is a full-time hourly position responsible for performing assigned duties to safely obtain and manufacture quality products for shipment to customers. The role is based on-site in Erlanger, Kentucky.

The Material Handler follows pick sheets and reports, verifies and adds listed materials, accurately weighs materials for production, follows quality-control sampling procedures, and reports deviations. The role also involves completing transactions using terminal software and handheld scanners, moving materials to and from approved warehouse locations, and cycle-counting inventory locations. The employee must follow ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures and maintain inventory record accuracy of at least 96%. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in shipping, receiving, and logistics and transportation.
• Barcode experience.
• Stand-up forklift experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Self-motivation and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, and bend throughout an eight-hour shift.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school education, equivalent, or a degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow instructions listed on reports and pick sheets.
• Check and add all materials listed on pick sheets.
• Precisely weigh materials for production areas.
• Follow quality-control sampling procedures and report deviations.
• Execute required transactions using terminal software and handheld scanners.
• Pull and return material to approved warehouse locations.
• Perform cycle counts of locations.
• Follow ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain inventory record accuracy of 96% or greater.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
