About The Position

This position is responsible for managing freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment. This includes identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight, using warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners, and maintaining accurate records and logs. The role also ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and keeps work areas organized by stacking and moving empty pallets. Additionally, the Material Handler monitors freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy in daily business practices.
  • Keep work areas organized and maintain freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets using manual or powered equipment.
