About The Position

The Material Handler manages the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies. The role involves preparing shipments, handling incoming deliveries, maintaining shipment records, and supporting the shipping and receiving departments. The position is located in Irving, Texas, and offers one of two schedules: Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., or Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The pay rate is $22–$25 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
SAP experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience in warehousing or freight terminal operations.
Familiarity with internal freight and logistics systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Scan, prepare, and print shipping labels based on shipping needs.
Palletize and pick items.
Unpack shipment deliveries.
Prepare shipping documents.
Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Consolidate shipping orders.
Manage the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies.
Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in shipments and receipts.
Unload trucks promptly and sort and stock received items.
Provide backup support for the shipping and receiving departments.
