About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Material Handler. This is a full-time, contract position with a duration of 6 months, located in Simpsonville, SC, and requires onsite work. The shift is the 1st shift, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling materials, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory. This includes loading and unloading materials from trucks and other delivery vehicles, maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas. You will also operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, conduct regular inventory checks, and assist in packaging and shipping of finished goods when required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Prior experience working with MRP system
Experience operating a forklift and/or Material Lifter (not a manual pallet jack)
Basic math and computer skills for inventory management.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities
