About The Position

The Boelter Companies is seeking a full-time Material Handler for its Beverage Warehouse in Glendale, Wisconsin. The role is part of the shipping team and calls for a reliable, hard-working team player with attention to detail and accuracy. The position involves receiving and picking shipments, preparing orders for shipment, loading trucks, preparing bills of lading, cycle counting, and other warehouse duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Willingness to use various order-picking equipment, including equipment that elevates the worker up to 30 feet.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to occasionally walk, sit, climb or balance, scoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to use feet to operate machines and hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Nice To Haves

• Previous material handling experience.
• Forklift experience.
• RF scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and pick shipments using an electronic pulling system.
• Prepare orders to ship.
• Load trucks using various types of heavy equipment.
• Prepare bills of lading.
• Perform cycle counting.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
