About The Position

The Material Handler at Post Consumer Brands’ Lawrence, Kansas facility operates forklifts to load and unload trailers safely and efficiently, helping meet customer needs. The role also involves maintaining forklifts and other equipment to reduce or eliminate downtime and keeping the work area clean, sanitary, and orderly to support employee and food safety.

The facility operates on a 24/7 production schedule. This position works D shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The pay rate is $24.45 per hour, with a $1.50-per-hour shift premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Physical demands, with or without reasonable accommodation: sitting, standing, and walking frequently; climbing stairs occasionally; reaching forward frequently; and manual dexterity constantly.

• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
