About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Material Handler to operate powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products. The role also checks inbound and outbound products for damage and infestation, records product code dates, and verifies that products meet customer requirements. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with pay of $20.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months of warehouse experience preferred.
Six months of forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.
Physically load products onto equipment, pallets, or totes for more than 20% of the specified shift.
Put away and pick products for shipment or stock.
Check inbound and outbound products for damage and infestation, record product code dates, and confirm products meet customer requirements.
Verify the exact number and type of products ordered by the customer, and ensure they are checked and loaded correctly.
Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and address information with customer orders to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
Verify and report discrepancies, including unavailable products and OS&D.
Maintain the facility and its equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
Inspect operated equipment daily and complete daily equipment inspections.
Assist with physical inventories.
