About The Position

The Material Handler works in the warehouse, moving, picking, packing, staging, and storing materials while supporting inventory accuracy and safe, organized operations. The role uses warehouse equipment and inventory software in a fast-paced warehouse or production setting that may involve varying temperatures, noise, and physical activity. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment; certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other equipment.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials accurately for outgoing shipments.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock audits.
• Store materials properly to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors about material needs and discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory software.
