About The Position

HORIBA Medical is a leader in chemistry reagents manufacturing and diagnostic solutions for decentralized clinical testing. We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated Material Handler / Shipping Clerk for our operation in Canton, MI. The successful candidate will work in a warehouse environment and be responsible for performing various aspects of our shipping and receiving process.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Organized, good communication and computer skills.
• Flexible and able to multi-task; demonstrates resourcefulness and ability to set priorities within a fast-paced evolving environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous job experience in a shipping/receiving position preferred.
• Hilo experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull, verify, and package orders/items for shipping; prepare packing slips and other required documentation.
• Invoice outgoing orders/shipments in the computer system and provide documents to customers by email.
• Prepare required documentation and contact approved carriers to setup shipments, both global and domestic.
• Contact customers with shipment information.
• Inventory items in "Sales Inventory". Receive incoming goods according to procedure.
