Requirements
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Equipment certification (tow motor, pallet jack) or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to safety
- Reliable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Warehouse and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Regular interaction with the public
Responsibilities
- Move and process donated goods following One Touch System guidelines
- Load and organize trucks safely and efficiently
- Assist donors with large item carry-outs while providing excellent customer service
- Sort, stack, and organize donations, salvage, and waste materials
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, tow motor, etc.)
- Bale salvage materials as needed
- Complete daily equipment checks and required logs
- Maintain clean, safe equipment and work areas
- Support Attended Donation Center operations as needed
- Follow all safety and security procedures
