About The Position

At Richelieu Foods, we make Great Food from Great People. We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler. This role is essential for transporting supplies, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Material Handler will work closely with the operations team to meet production needs and uphold Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
1 Year of stand-up forklift experience.
The ability to read and understand production's schedule.
Outstanding attendance record.
Experience on RF scanners.
Cycle count experience.
Comfortable working in a cold & Hot environment.
Experience working in a warehouse environment.
Cycle Counting experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.
Communicate with operations to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in the area.
Properly put away materials.
Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department.
Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
