Requirements

  • Chemical or warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Required to lift up to 50 pounds and pull up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to maintain a good safety and attendance record.
  • Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other departments and personnel in meeting customer needs.
  • Knowledge of forklift operation, with certification.
  • Skills associated with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer skills sufficient to efficiently perform the job requirements.
  • Ability to understand and comply with the responsibilities of the job as outlined in the Job description.
  • Ability to understand and carry out process descriptions applicable to the job.
  • Willingness to accept overtime (both scheduled and impromptu), to be subject to and available for call-in, and to work other shifts as needed to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Filling drums & totes with chemicals
  • Container preparation (labeling, stenciling, etc.)
  • Maintain shipping and receiving logs
  • Makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition
  • Move raw materials to the production area and moves finished products to the warehouse
  • Required to lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds
  • Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties
