About The Position

The Material Handler operates a forklift or clamp truck to move raw and packaging materials and finished products between the warehouse and production floor. The role supports uninterrupted production by maintaining material supplies, removing finished goods, and handling storage, documentation, scrap, and housekeeping tasks. The position is based onsite at WinCup’s West Chicago, Illinois location and reports to the Warehouse Manager. The posted pay range is $19–$23 per hour, dependent upon experience, and the shift is 12 AM–12 PM on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

• Know how to drive and be certified to operate a forklift.
• Have one year of experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sufficient supplies of bulk product, cardboard boxes, film, bags, tape, and other raw materials on the production floor to prevent interruptions to production.
• Remove finished products from the production area in a timely and safe manner.
• Place and rotate finished goods, ensuring correct storage and compliance with SOP standards for stack heights, aisle widths, and product consolidation.
• Complete paperwork, reports, and loading documents as required by the Team Lead, Supervisor, or Department Manager.
• Repackage damaged product as needed.
• Gather and remove scrap bales from the holding area, record their weight, and move them to a designated area.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Remove debris and move and empty trash cans.
• Perform preventive audits on forklifts using a checklist.
• Follow GMP and sanitation guidelines and maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead, Supervisor, or Department Manager.
