About The Position

The Material Handler will operate a forklift, reach truck/hi-lo, and electric pallet jack to move materials and products within the warehouse. This role involves order picking and packing, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The Material Handler must follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines, conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment, and assist with shipping and receiving tasks. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift, reach truck/hi-lo, and electric pallet jack
• Ability to perform order picking and packing
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures
• Understanding of safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Ability to conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts
• Willingness to assist with shipping and receiving tasks

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift, Reach truck/ hi-lo, and electric pallet jack to move materials and products within the warehouse
• Perform order picking and packing duties as required
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment
• Ensure accuracy in inventory management by verifying quantities and inspecting products for damage
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
