Material Handler- ALL Shifts
About The Position
The Material Handler is responsible for transferring work-in process (WIP) parts and delivering incoming raw materials and other goods as necessary to support production control and manufacturing. This role involves sorting materials, placing them in proper locations, and fulfilling orders for delivery to the correct destination. The Material Handler will operate scanning equipment to transfer materials and support the implementation of Quality and Environmental Policies. Authorities for this role are granted through work instructions, policies, procedures, and management direction to meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- Ability to exhibit organizational, interpersonal and mathematical skill level sets to successfully meet the requirements and expectations of this position
- Ability to operate appropriate equipment relevant to the material handling process
- Familiarity with related software applications, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint..etc...
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years related work experience preferred
- certification preferred (for operating appropriate equipment)
Responsibilities

- Receives orders from manufacturing and/or production control and is responsible to fulfill the order and deliver to the proper destination
- Operates scanning equipment to transfer materials to correct locations as necessary
- Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies
