About The Position

The Distribution Center Material Handler is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials within the Distribution Center (DC). This role supports inbound, outbound, and inventory control processes while ensuring compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements. The position requires operating powered industrial vehicles (PIV), maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements

0–1 year of warehouse or material handling experience required.
High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Vocational or technical training in logistics or warehousing.
1+ years and experience with scanners or WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound materials from Supplier T1 in accordance with safety standards and procedures.
Verify shipments against Bills of Lading (BOL) and schedules.
Conduct trailer inspections and document conditions with photographs.
Report discrepancies or damages using established processes.
Scan and assign materials to proper DC locations by commodity.
Maintain documentation and filing requirements.
Transport and store materials into designated locations.
Ensure materials are labeled and stored correctly by commodity.
Clear materials from cross-dock areas by end of shift.
Prepare and ship materials to following CT-PAT standards.
Load materials according to weight restrictions and capacity limits.
Secure loads, perform inspections, and document shipments.
Complete and distribute shipping documentation.
Stage materials based on pick lists with 100% accuracy.
Organize staged materials for efficient shipment.
Perform daily cycle counts per rotation schedules.
Report discrepancies to supervisors.
Maintain inventory accuracy.
Consolidate supplier materials into crates per procedures.
Ensure materials are secure and organized.
Maintain 5S standards in assigned areas.
Follow all safety policies and use PPE properly.
