About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director of Material Management, the Materials Handler receives, stores, and distributes medical supplies and equipment; maintains inventory; and stickers patient-chargeable supplies. The role replenishes stock in nursing supply rooms and assists with special projects to ensure healthcare workers have the materials needed to provide patient care. The position has no access to patient health information.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a manual and powered pallet jack.
• Familiarity with computer skills.
• Must possess the full range of body motion required to pass the basic FIT test for the position, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
