As part of the BioServices team, the Rockville, MD site focuses on the receipts, inventory storage, withdrawal and shipment of biological specimens, samples, clinical agents, and materials from multiple commercial and government clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No previous work experience required
  • Ability to work independently and set priorities
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work as part of a team
  • Able to work with methods to handle, process and store specimens using a computerized storage and retrieval system

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in assembly, distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
  • Experience with GMP & GDP environment

Responsibilities

  • Labeling, packaging, and assembly of drug products or collection kits.
  • Facilitate movement of materials, including hazardous materials, across the site
  • Maintain accurate inventory through receipts, adjustments, and cycle counts
  • Efficiently and flawlessly handle materials, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
  • Apply effective techniques to accurately receive, store, and distribute materials
  • Work with speed and accuracy to fulfill customer orders and maintain inventory control
  • Resolve discrepancies or issues with materials, collaborating with team members as needed
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material handling processes
