About The Position

The Material Handler works in a warehouse or storage facility, loading and unloading materials and performing activities such as picking, packing, scanning, kitting, or counting products. The role uses a barcode scanner and warehouse management system, follows the 7S program, and maintains a clean, safe environment. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, plus four hours on Saturday.

Requirements

• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
• One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Positive attitude and ability to work on a team to achieve goals and objectives.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
