About The Position

Material Handling uses a variety of equipment such as stand-up forklifts and stand-up clamp lifts to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. May maintain records. The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists on Inbound or Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. This job receives products in the Inbound section. As far as the outbound section, this job ships products.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
1-2 years related work experience and/or training preferred
1-2 years experience with operating stand-up forklifts preferred
1-2 years experience with operating stand-up clamp lift preferred
Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works under moderate degree of supervision
Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor

Responsibilities

Unloads trucks by using a Stand-up forklift or Stand-up Clamp lift.
Use system to check in products.
Track inventory, keep count of product, and stacking product accordingly.
Stores products in warehouse locations using Stand-up forklift/ Stand-up clamp lift primarily.
Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
Bring products to the line for manufacturing.
