Material Handler - 3rd shift
About The Position
The Material Handler position supports the Production and Packaging departments. The hours for this position are Sunday - Thursday 11:15pm - 7:15am. This role is responsible for moving raw materials and finished goods, organizing and staging finished product, operating equipment like pallet jacks, weighing product, calibrating scales, and adhering to safety guidelines. The Material Handler will also operate the Nutramax Delivery Truck for inter-building transfers and occasional external warehouse transfers. Regular attendance, effective communication, and teamwork are essential. Overtime may be required.
Requirements

- Attention to detail and some process analytical skills necessary
- Regularly required to stand and bend
- Must be able to use hands and arms to lift and reach
- Ability to climb up and down stairs
- Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours
- Ability to lift, pull and push a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to use both arms to push, pull or lift
- Ability to bend and squat
- Ability to move, with help, 110 lb. drums
- Strong mathematical and mechanical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities
- Support the Production and Packaging departments
- Move all raw materials and finished goods from the Warehouse to the Production area
- Organize and stage all finished product
- Operate miscellaneous related equipment such as the pallet jack
- Weigh product sent from Production department using scales
- Calibrate scales as needed per SOP SC-FA2004
- Organize work to achieve daily goals and adhere to Safety Precautions and guidelines
- Safely operate the Nutramax Delivery Truck moving products between the 851 and 946 building and occasionally transferring products to and from the outside Warehouse when needed
- Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives
- Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment
