About The Position

Rockwell Automation is hiring a full-time Material Handler Level 2 for its manufacturing Warehouse department. This first-shift role performs physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The position uses documented work instructions and manufacturing execution systems to receive, pick, and deliver parts. Assignments and processes are semi-routine, and the employee works with little direction. The role may involve lifting heavy items, operating powered industrial vehicles, preparing kits for assembly production, and maintaining records related to goods received and shipped. Overtime is an essential function and typically requires eight hours per week, though actual hours may vary.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
Ability to read and understand written instructions and schematics.
Ability to use a computer to view, log, or find job-related information.
Ability to work self-directed in a team environment.
Safe use of powered industrial vehicles, scanning devices, and other material handling equipment.
Ability to work overtime, typically eight hours per week.

Responsibilities

Receive, pick, and deliver parts using documented work instructions and manufacturing execution systems.
Load, unload, and transfer materials using powered industrial vehicles.
Unpack and check received goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintain receiving records, and reject unsatisfactory items.
Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, post weights and shipping charges, and prepare goods for shipment.
Examine, stock, and distribute inventory materials to manufacturing lines.
May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
