About The Position

FM Industries is a manufacturing solutions provider specializing in build-to-print services, precision-machined components, anodizing, and engineered thermal-spray coatings. The Material Handler 2 maintains production and distribution of product by delivering production materials and supplies and staging finished product. The role also loads and unloads products to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas, and records materials received or distributed. The company has locations in Fremont and Livermore, California, and offers multiple shift opportunities: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.; or Friday–Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. FM Industries describes its culture as powered by people and technology, with a focus on diversity, customer service, celebrating success, and integrity.

Requirements

Forklift certification is required.
3–5 years of experience.
Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office.
Ability to work with Finance on invoicing receipts and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Deliver production materials and supplies to maintain production and distribution of product.
Stage finished product.
Load and unload products to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Understand packaging specifications for customer shipments.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Work with Finance on invoicing receipts and problem solving.
