About The Position

Pentair is hiring a Material Handler to join its Delavan, Wisconsin team. The role supports the Materials team by handling and delivering materials to manufacturing lines so operations run smoothly and efficiently. This is a permanent position on second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Occasional mandatory overtime is required. The hourly pay is $21.00, with an 8% shift differential for a total of $22.68 per hour. A rate increase may be available after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training. Actual pay may vary based on achievements, skills, and experience. The position requires standing and walking for up to eight hours per day, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting above shoulder height. Appropriate PPE is required in production and warehouse areas, and steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Requirements

Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, or high-reach lift truck.
Ability to operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
Ability to use scales and a barcode scanner.
Basic mathematics and computer skills.
Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours per day, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting above shoulder height.
Wear appropriate PPE in production and warehouse areas; steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Responsibilities

Put away purchased and manufactured components.
Stage components and deliver them to production areas in a timely manner.
Process documentation such as transfer tickets, packing slips, and safety checklists.
Understand the Bills of Materials for product lines in the assigned area.
Follow documented safety rules and practices.
