About The Position

The Material Handler operates lift trucks to transport, store, rotate, and stage materials within the service center, and reviews product counts for accuracy. The role includes conducting daily lift truck inspections, reporting equipment issues, and following housekeeping procedures. The Material Handler works collaboratively with the team to meet goals and completes other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., with overtime as required. The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with the possibility of a higher rate based on experience. The role requires frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds, mounting and dismounting equipment, and walking, climbing, and bending for periods of time. Work may take place in hot or cold conditions depending on the weather.

Requirements

• Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to mount and dismount equipment.
• Ability to walk, climb, and bend for periods of time.
• Comfort working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of lift truck operation experience.
• Lift truck experience handling heavy loads of 10,000 pounds or more.
