About The Position

Stream-Flo is one of the largest privately held companies providing wellheads, gate valves, check valves, and surface safety systems for the worldwide oil and gas industry. The Material Handler Technician receives and verifies incoming used equipment, coordinates and performs repairs of customer property, supports inventory and shipment activities, and assists Wellhead Technicians as required. The role also helps train employees on approved repair procedures and maintains housekeeping in accordance with SFI standards. Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma.
Effective written, verbal, and reading skills in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, with good organizational abilities and the ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable abstract.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Nice To Haves

A technical school certificate or inventory management training.
Computer skills; these are an asset and required as a job function.
Comprehensive knowledge of Stream-Flo and competitors’ equipment.

Responsibilities

Receive all incoming used equipment, including C/P and Rental.
Identify and receive customer property wellhead equipment onto receiving reports.
Coordinate and perform repair of customer property equipment in conjunction with the Service Supervisor.
Assist in training fellow employees on proper repair procedures and ensure equipment is repaired consistently and in an approved manner.
Establish and advise inventory level requirements for repair parts.
Ensure repair parts, farm-out charges, and labor are recorded on the repair working copy.
Expedite equipment shipments.
Verify receiving accuracy against supplied documentation.
Assist Wellhead Technicians in AT&P as required.
Maintain housekeeping to conform to SFI standards.
Stay current with relevant policies and procedures.
Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
