About The Position

This role is responsible for receiving or preparing for shipment incoming or outgoing parts, materials, and finished products. The Material Handler will verify items against packing lists, make counts, and maintain records. They will also distribute incoming small package materials to the designated department, and log, copy, and distribute paperwork to the appropriate departments as directed. Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the work area is crucial. This position requires flexibility to work overtime when required by management, and to willingly accept assignments in other areas/departments as needed. A key aspect of this role is to maintain proper liaison with all departments to contribute to the team philosophy. Other assigned tasks as necessary will be assigned by Management. The Material Handler is responsible for following all safety regulations and complying with SOP's, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP's while performing duties. They must also follow all environmental and OSHA requirements and attend in-house training sessions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Passing of company-required testing.
  • Experience in Shipping/Material Handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Use of Forklift and Pallet Jacks preferred.
