About The Position

This role is responsible for receiving and preparing parts, materials, and finished products for shipment, both incoming and outgoing. The Material Handler will verify items against packing lists, maintain accurate counts and records, and distribute incoming small package materials to the appropriate departments. This position also involves logging, copying, and distributing paperwork, maintaining a clean work area, and attending training sessions. The role requires adherence to all safety regulations and compliance with relevant standards such as SOPs, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMPs, as well as environmental and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Passing of company-required [assessment/drug test/background check - specific detail missing]
Experience in Shipping/Material Handling

Nice To Haves

Use of Forklift and Pallet Jacks preferred.

Responsibilities

Receives or prepares for shipment incoming or outgoing parts, materials, and finished products.
Verifies items against packing lists, make counts and maintain records.
Distribute incoming small package materials to the designated department.
Logs, copies and distributes paperwork to the appropriate departments, as directed.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of work area.
Works overtime when required by management.
Willingly accepts assignments in other areas/departments as needed.
Maintain proper liaison with all departments to contribute to the team philosophy.
Other assigned tasks as necessary assigned by Management.
Responsible for following all safety regulations and complying with SOP's, DEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP's while performing duties.
Follow all environmental and OSHA requirements.
Attend in-house training sessions.
